Dear Juan Cabrillo Middle School Families,

As we embark on the 2024-2025 school year, we want to extend our warmest welcome to all of you. At

Cabrillo’s PTSA, we strive to create a supportive and enriching environment for our students by fostering

collaboration among parents, teachers, students, and our school administration.

Last year, the PTSA organized numerous wonderful programs and activities, and this year, we are excited to bring

even more unique events and initiatives that will positively impact our entire school community. We aim to

sponsor programs and activities that enrich our students' educational experience and bring together parents,

staff, and the community.

Our programs and activities include the Blue Bag Brigade, Dining for Dollars, 8th Grade Dance, Art Reflections,

Sports Equipment, Student Assemblies, Monster Mash, Innovation Lab, and Teacher and Staff Appreciation

Week.

We wholeheartedly seek your support to make these initiatives a success! You can contribute by becoming a

PTSA member today. Membership is open to all parents, guardians, teachers, staff, and students costing only

$10. Additionally, we would be immensely grateful if you could consider making a suggested donation of $50 or

more to help us fund the above activities. We also welcome employee corporate matching, and all contributions

are tax-deductible. Our PTSA is listed on Benevity as Juan Cabrillo Middle School PTSA, EIN 77-0324523.

You can become a paid member and directly donate by scanning the QR code below. Alternatively, you can fill

out our membership envelope and drop it in the office mailbox.

If you have the passion and experience to volunteer, we would be honored to have you on our team. Our PTSA

holds onsite/Zoom meetings on the third Thursday of each month at 7 p.m., and we would love for you to join

us. This year, I am introducing Cougar Connection: PTSA Power Hour once a month, when we can get together

after dropping the kids off at school. These meetings are a quick and efficient way to stay informed about school

events and to connect with other dedicated parents. Everyone is welcome to attend the meetings, and we also

encourage you to email us at CabrilloPTSASC@gmail.com for further details. Please watch for the upcoming

meeting dates and announcements on Parent Square.

We look forward to receiving your time, effort, and contributions to Cabrillo Middle School. Your involvement

means a lot to us, and we are truly grateful for your support.

With warm regards,

Melinda Lutz

2024-2025 President
